If there’s one pair of jeans you need in your closet it’s the classic blue. We all love dark jeans, raw jeans, black jeans, white jeans, light jeans, and so on, but those milky blue jeans are the ones that are always appropriate and fit with any outfit. Throw them on with an oxford and blazer and you’ll love classicly Italian, or slip on a slim white v-neck and boots to go Steve McQueen. But everyone has blues, so how can you add the slightest sartorial flair to your pair?

This is where the small brand Special Fabrications comes in. When everyone is pushing similar clean back pockets, Special Fabrications has put out some jeans that are unique without going overboard. The small switchblade pocket, as they call it, gives the jeans something new that is both simple and elegant. The small dart in the back pocket also adds a small bit of style to these already handsome jeans. The Costello cut is their straight-leg that has just the right measurements and their medium classic is just the right wash for you everyday blue jeans. The best part of these jeans, however, just might be their $119 price tag. These may be one of the best options for high-quality jeans if you’re not willing to pay outrageous prices. Get them online at C’H’C’M or at the Denim Bar in D.C.
