Hey guys, things have been pretty hectic around here the last couple weeks. We’ve decided to treat ourselves to a nice long weekend. Hope you understand. See you back on Monday!

That’s right: the company known for its scarves is taking 10 bones off every scarf in their store. But for this weekend only. So make your trip asap. After seeing the fall collection in stores, we can assure you that you’ll be quite happy with your decision to check out the action. And remember: 20% off for students.
We just want to give you the heads up on sales this week. First, Soiffer Haskin is hosting a Hickey Freeman and Bobby Jones sample sale. This is a great opportunity to pick up an awesome Hickey Freeman suit for a fraction of the price, so we suggest stopping in. Remember, credit cards only! So far this week is a bit quiet in physical sales, but luckily Gilt Man has been killing it of late and this week looks to be loaded as well. Today at noon you can pick up the brilliant clothing of Brooks Brothers Black Fleece for 70% off retail. This is an awesome chance to get a killer oxford shirt for J. Crew-like prices. Tomorrow they will be selling Super Sunglasses which have been all the rage this summer. A modern alternative to your Ray-Bans, these should be going for somewhere near $50 so make sure to line up early.
Thursday on Gilt Man means Duncan Quinn, Burberry Shoes and Accessories, and Harry’s of London. This is one hell of a lineup so decide what you’re looking for early. You can pick up the aggressive British stylings of the esquisite suit-maker Duncan Quinn, the hard-as-hell to find kicks of Burberry, or the super high-end dress shoes of Harry’s of London. We’ll be going Duncan Quinn and then Burberry, but we kind of wish we had two computers. Finally, Friday will have the brilliant menswear of Gianfranco Ferre. This is a great place to get an awesome hand-made Italian sport coat or shirt.
Here is your invitation to Gilt Man.
We all know how well J. Crew’s been doing it over the last couple years. They’ve pretty much taken a monopoly on the affordable menswear market across the country and while guys like Club Monaco and Uniqlo have been making some serious strides, J. Crew’s Spring 2010 collection reminds us that they’re still at the top of their game. Aside from their awesome collaborations with Red Wing, Baracuta, Alden, and the Hill-Side, Spring 2010 looks like another strong collection of casual sportwear with a refined edge. They’ve added a nice navy sharkskin option to their suiting as well as a new “fireman’s jacket” and plenty of good shirts and sweaters. Check out more pictures after the jump.
