We already posted on how 2010 may be the most exciting year in movie history. But we failed to tell you why it got 50 times more hopeful. Oliver Stone is directing a sequel to Wall Street and Michael Douglas will reprise his role as the Gordon Gekko. Apparently, in the film, Gekko is fresh out of 20 years of prison (it’s now 2008) and catapulted into a far more tumultuous climate than the one of yesteryear. Sure, it’s a timely piece amidst the economic turmoil, but more importantly, we can’t wait to see contrast collar shirts with some hardcore power suits. And while we’re talking style, you can’t go wrong with Shia LaBeouf in a supporting role as a young trader.
