We know that we’ve done the revamped prepster before, but when we thought about it, we decided that it was irresponsible to promote one look as there are so many options that achieve similar feels. This doesn’t mean we’ve run out of ideas, far from it, but it does mean we’re planning on revisiting some previous looks.
Sure, it’s very different than our previous Revamped Prepster, but it still works damn well. This modernized prep still channels all of the classical notes, but does so in a smart, updated way. The classic blue blazer, of course, but with a cool peak lapel. Hickey is a great brand for this look as they draw from the classic Hickey Freeman, but they love to have fun. Band of Outsiders is another great example, and the classic blue oxford shirt blends a traditional fabric with a modern cut. We totally love this “O” bow tie by Alexander Olch and it pairs perfectly with the shirt and blazer. Simon Miller jeans are a great example of traditional done right as their simple lines create a product that can be paired with nearly anything. Slip on that awesome woven belt by Anderson’s as it gives a very lively touch to the outfit. Finally, these half penny loafer, half boat shoes by Pointer are the perfect way to top off the look. They combine two classic pieces into something that is undeniable modern.
