As we draw nearer to fall, coats and jackets start to become the norm again. Sure, the weather may be in the 90s now, but you’ll be glad you were ready when it starts to dip down into the 50s and 60s. Here is our Trench Coat Piece by Piece.
The trench coat is an interesting piece as it has two different feels, rainy and dry. We’ve opted for a standard dry Autumn day in this one, but we’ll get around to the rain eventually. The Martin & Osa Black Trench Coat takes center stage as it has the simplicity we look for in a trench coat. Under the trench you can throw on Hickey’s Splatter Crewneck, which is both fun and functional. The soft merino wool and white paint splatter are a great take on the classically American grey crewneck sweatshirt. We’re really loving these jeans by Tellason as they have that hearty shade of blue that adds life to an outfit. These guys are made in North Carolina and constructed in San Fran so you can be sure you’re helping out that struggling economy when you pick up a pair. We’ve really been loving Loake shoes of late and we’ve also got a suede shoe fixation, so we’ve taken the best of both worlds and put in these suede loafers by Loake. The icing on the cake is a cable knit hat by J. Press. They had some great knit caps last Fall/Winter and it looks as if they’ve continued the trend once again.
