Nacho Figueras is the guy you’ve been seeing in recent Ralph Lauren ads, but he also happens to be a world class polo player. He has helped raise the profile of polo around the world, which is hard to pull off when you’re talking about the world’s most elitist sport. Along with this, he has also seen to the growth of mini-label Black Watch in the Ralph Lauren empire. So it seems he’s something of a triple-threat and surprisingly–given his elitist line of work–, he seems to be incredibly down to earth. We’re interested to see what comes of this Black Watch Label (which happens to be the name of his polo team) as Mr. Figueras says, “I really believe the Black Watch brand is a billion-dollar brand.” Well, we’re willing to raise an eyebrow because there aren’t enough brands out there doing the classic prepster thing right.
